About Vermont Taste

Vermont Taste is a new community-focused event that benefits Copley Hospital, the not-for-profit community hospital serving north central Vermont.  It is coordinated by Copley Hospital, led by a team of passionate volunteers from the Vermont food scene, with assistance from our many partners, hosts, and sponsors. The extended event is designed to encourage people to go to their favorite neighborhood hangout or check out a new place, supporting both local businesses and our community hospital.

Funds raised by participating restaurants, resorts, craft beverage, and artisan food producers and their partners support Copley Hospital’s Charitable Care program, providing financial assistance that helps ensure community members receive the healthcare they need. Last year this fund enabled Copley to provide free or discounted care covering 2,300 visits. By participating in Vermont Taste, you help ensure your friends and neighbors can receive the care they need regardless of ability to pay.

Learn about how funds raised when you participate in Vermont Taste can help so many:

Tom and Laurie Silva relied on Copley’s Charitable Care Program when Tom suddenly became ill and unable to work for several years due to a debilitating chronic condition.

Lani Wilson was uninsured and six months away from qualifying for Medicare when her cancer returned.
